It only takes three minutes to get motivated...

... yes, it's possible!  Happy Friday everyone!  I was asked today when meeting someone new what my taste in music is, which was something I specifically left out of my bio.  And that's because I'm the kind of person that won't claim a false passion.  Don't get me wrong, I enjoy music plenty.  I'm just saying that I'm pretty middle of the road about it; I haven't dedicated my life to the art like some people I've met and admire have, but I also know when something is, well, good!  I adore me some Queen and who can't be a fan of The Beatles?  But this post isn't about the classics, it's about motivation!  Music can be such a tool for motivation and I'm gonna let you all in on my (fool proof for me) way of getting pumped.

You're probably thinking, "Meagan, enough hype, just tell us!"  Alright Internet folk, here's what I call music motiviating magic:

ZUMBA.

Haven't heard of it?  You are missing out!  I was first introduced to Zumba in college.  It's Latin flavor realized in dancing that originated out of Colombia, and it rocks (pun intended).  Spanish is the dominant language of the music of course, and if you don't have to speak el espanol, I think you can still get caught up in the fun of it.  Not convinced?  I challenge you to listen and bet you'll want to dance to the beat and energy.  Or at least bob your head.  Here's a list of a few of my favorite tracks:

Follow The Leader by Wisin and Yandel feat. JLo

Cup of Life by Ricky Martin

Pegate by Grupo Treo

Tu Cuerpo by Pitbull and Jencarlos

Bon, Bon also by Pitbull

Like I said, those are just five songs out of a whole bunch of Zumba music out there.  I recommend creating a Pandora station.  What are your thoughts on Zumba and its music?  Let me know in the comments!
